I’ll be on the sidewalk selling work with my amazing artist friend, Jodi Ferry. Come visit us in your wanderings to have a closer look at what we’ve been up to lately — and maybe bring something home with you, if you feel so inclined! It will be a lovely day to walk around and take in all the First Friday festivities.

Come to Engine in Biddeford, TOMORROW night for PechaKucha! Wednesday, May 15th, at 7:20 PM. I will be presenting about my recent work, along with six others, and fun times to follow at Elements next door. If you’re curious for any of the stories behind my work, now is your chance — I hope to see you there.

My friend Nora Armstrong and I are looking to start a local figure drawing group — one evening a week of cozy and casual drawing with other artists. She is an amazing model! Please contact us if you’re interested at [email protected] or [email protected] for more information.

My new years resolution was to start using Instagram, and in April I finally got around to making one! Follow me @sarahpereakane. Especially if you want to see work-in-progress pictures of my paintings. And other things that I just like. But I can promise that I won’t overwhelm you with images of every single thing I eat.

I have a new studio, in the Artist Studios at 536 Congress Street. It will be amazing to have this space to make all kinds of new, different, and larger work! I will have more information about studio visits and open studio events soon.

On Friday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 I am teaching the Youth Art Club at Engine, in Biddeford, ME. It’s open to all ages and we will be doing all kinds of different activities! For more information, please see the gallery’s page: http://feedtheengine.org/after-school
